INTRODUCTION TO NEW INN JUNIOR & YOUTH AFC
Jarrold’s Field,
New Inn
Pontypool, Torfaen.
New
Inn Junior & youth provide football for boys & girls
from the age of 6 to 18. Mini football is classed as
non competitive and its aims are to provide
football education up to the age of 10. The league
structure commences with the under 12s to under 18s.
All junior and Youth teams
are affiliated to the Gwent County
F.A and play in the
Torfaen League. We are proud to announce for the
season 2005 – 2006 a development squad
which will be created at
under 18s and will be entered into the Gwent County
Sunday league, this structure will complete a link
between our junior/youth section to our senior
team
and will benefit both sections in the future.
The
club is run by dedicated committee members, and the
teams by experienced managers, all of whom are
volunteers. The club ensures that all managers meet
the minimum standards to train the children
and this is achieved
by all managers attending courses to obtain the Junior
Leaders Award. The club also has a Child welfare
officer to provide a link between the children,
parents and the club.
The club is
self financing and therefore an annual subscription is
set to meet the running costs of the club, these
include:
·
Pitch hire at a cost
of £5 per game played.
·
Team Registration &
competition fees at £100 per team.
·
Winter training
facilities of £250 per month.
·
Changing room’s
utility bills.
·
Maintenance and
upkeep of the Changing rooms.
·
Top up of equipment
such as balls, cones, training vests etc.
·
New kits as and when
required.
·
End of season
trophies.
The list goes on but we strive as a
club to ensure that annual subscription fees are kept to
a minimum.
We would also like to thank all
parents for their continuing support to the teams and
club.
We are
fortunate to have two playing pitches assigned to us
each year at Jarrold’s fields and our own changing
rooms ensure that the teams have the best facilities
available. The Development squad will play on the
Woodfield
Road pitch the home of New
Inn AFC and have the use of
their
facilities.
As well as the team games we organize
annual events to compliment the club, these include:
·
Annual 4 a side
competition
·
New Inn F.A cup.
